Biology Expert - Remote

Role Overview

We are looking for a Biology Expert to work remotely on a contract basis, contributing specialized knowledge to enhance AI-related projects in the biological sciences field.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough critical evaluations and provide detailed feedback on biology-related data, prompts, or content utilized in AI development processes.
• Develop, assess, and refine scientific scenarios, questions, or explanations that address complex biological problems grounded in real-world contexts.
• Supply expert insights to assure the accuracy, relevance, and depth of AI training datasets and outputs concerning biological topics.
• Collaborate closely with platform teams to resolve ambiguities and improve the quality, coverage, and representativeness of biological data.
• Document methodologies, findings, and supporting rationale to foster transparency and reproducibility of project deliverables.
• Engage actively in iterative review cycles and ongoing appraisals to enhance the AI system's performance in biology.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions alongside interdisciplinary experts to enrich project outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in biology or a closely related life science field.
• Proven in-depth knowledge of fundamental biological principles with the capability to contextualize complex topics for varied audiences.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities ensuring precise articulation of feedback and scientific reasoning.
• Experience in scientific data analysis, critical assessment of research, and synthesis of complex subject matter.
• Demonstrated capacity for independent work while consistently providing high-quality deliverables aligned with project requirements.
• Previous involvement in interdisciplinary scientific or technology projects; familiarity with AI is advantageous but not required.
• Strong attention to detail, consistency, and a commitment to uphold scientific rigor and accuracy throughout the work.
