Job description
About the role
This position is for quantitative professionals who want to contribute to AI model training. You will collaborate with advanced AI systems on work such as checking AI-produced quantitative analysis, working through technical challenges, and sharing feedback that helps improve how models reason about data, mathematical models, and scientific questions.
The role suits people from fields like data science, astrophysics, economics, biostatistics, operations research, and other quantitative disciplines. If you are comfortable applying rigorous thinking to data and models, your background is likely relevant.
Some people take on this work alongside another full-time job, while others make it their main focus.
How the process works
After creating an account, you will complete a short assessment that acts as the screening step. If you are successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid tasks will be unlocked on the platform.
What you will do
- Review AI-generated quantitative output and check it for statistical soundness, modelling accuracy, scientific logic, and practical validity.
- Create and solve quantitative problems that help train and evaluate AI systems across forecasting, experimental work, optimization, and statistical inference.
- Prepare concise technical write-ups and well-structured analytical code.
- Share feedback that helps shape future AI models focused on quantitative reasoning.
Advantages of contracting
- You can pick the projects you want to take on and decide when to work.
- Work from your own computer, on your own schedule, from home.
- Pay starts at USD 50-100+ per hour, and some projects include bonus rates.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of practical experience in a quantitative job or research setting, for example in data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, operations research, or a related area.
- Some coding ability, including the capability to write and review analytical code from start to finish.
- Hands-on familiarity with statistical techniques, predictive modelling, and experiment design such as A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and time-series forecasting.
- Strong English fluency at native or bilingual level, along with excellent writing skills.
- A bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline is preferred, such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering; a master's degree or PhD is an added advantage.
- Additional credentials are a plus, including Kaggle competition ranking, AWS/GCP machine learning certifications, or equivalent proof of expertise.
Payment and engagement notes
Compensation is handled through PayPal, and any currency conversion from USD will be managed by PayPal. You will never be asked to pay any money to participate. This is an independent contractor arrangement.
Eligibility
Only applicants based in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand will be considered.
