About The Role
This position is responsible for overseeing and executing client billing processes, including the management of invoices, reconciliation of payments, and resolution of billing-related issues and inquiries.
Key Accountabilities
- Process daily premium deposits and verify balanced debits.
- Audit and research incoming checks.
- Issue premium refunds as necessary.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external customer communications.
- Support customer service functions, including making past due calls, processing changes, and fulfilling information or data entry requests.
- Generate monthly invoices for external vendors and carriers.
- Track and manage payments, including past due accounts, and document customer interactions regarding overdue vendor/carrier payments.
- Accurately process and reconcile premium payments at an individual employee policy level, adhering to company standards.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly compensation range for this role, based in Lake Forest, Illinois, is $18.19 to $26.29. The final salary will be determined by factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and skill set. This position may also be eligible for a bonus. We aim to offer competitive market salaries.
