Job description
Job Overview
We are currently seeking a Billing & Planning Engineer to contribute to our active construction projects. The role demands overseeing project planning, bill preparation, quantity estimation, scheduling work activities, and collaborating with site teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify contractor and client bills including running (RA) and final bills.
- Generate Bill of Quantities (BOQ), perform quantity surveying and rate analysis.
- Measure and assess work completed at the site accurately.
- Coordinate with accounts and project teams for timely billing submission and processing.
- Study construction drawings to estimate material and labor quantities.
- Ensure compliance with government billing procedures especially for government projects and tenders.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong command of MS Excel is essential.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project, and Primavera is advantageous.
- Proven experience in preparing bills for government infrastructure projects preferred.
- Educational background in Civil Engineering (B.Tech or Diploma) with relevant construction/infrastructure experience.
