Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Head of Bid Management, this role is integral to the tender and bidding team. The candidate will handle bids related to RWCS MedWaste and Shred-it, focusing on bid preparation, coordination, process improvements, performance reporting, and engaging with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, manage, and successfully submit expressions of interest (EOIs), pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs), selection questionnaires (SQs), and invitation to tender (ITT) or request for proposal (RFP) documentation to maximize win rates.
- Oversee bid management processes, ensuring clear communication of requirements, deadlines, and expectations across departments involved in ongoing bids and tenders.
- Collaborate extensively with sales, marketing, legal, finance, operations managers, and other teams to refine and enhance service offerings included in bids.
- Research, write, and submit all bid documentation on schedule, including use of traditional and electronic procurement portals.
- Proactively monitor tender portals to identify appropriate business opportunities for Stericycle brands.
- Utilize Salesforce (SFDC) and other internal systems for pipeline management, reporting, and internal and external communication.
- Maintain a comprehensive information database featuring case studies, customer testimonials, standard boilerplate content such as insurance and membership details.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Minimum A Levels or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Professional experience: At least 2 years in bid management or related field.
- Desirable professional qualifications such as APMP certification.
