Role overview
Signet Jewelers is hiring both entry-level and seasoned jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center team in Warner Robins, Georgia. This position is open to people who are beginning their jewelry career as well as experienced bench jewelers looking to grow their craft in a company that promotes from within.
The role may begin with apprentice-level support duties such as administrative and clerical work along with jewelry polishing, and can progress toward more advanced bench work. Depending on skill level, the job may involve restoring jewelry, building custom pieces, and carrying out detailed repair and setting work.
The company emphasizes customer-focused service for jewelry design and repair, with training and ongoing learning available to help team members move from basic bench work to more advanced artisan-level responsibilities.
Key work areas
- Repair and restore jewelry components such as chains, clasps, prongs, rings, and other fine metal pieces.
- Set stones and create or rebuild mountings, including channel and platinum rebuilds.
- Carry out polishing, waxing, fabrication, casting, and custom jewelry creation.
- Support CAD/CAM-based design tasks where applicable.
- Complete administrative or clerical duties when assigned, especially in apprentice-level work.
Skills and background needed
- Experience in bench jewelry or similar skilled trade work with fine metals, ideally 1 to 3 years.
- Ability to pass a bench test that measures current jewelry skill level.
- Strong attention to detail and good organization.
- Customer-service mindset with a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
- Comfort using basic computer tools.
- Availability for varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and seasonal overtime.
- High school completion is preferred, though not mandatory.

Work schedule and additional details
This is a full-time role with a standard 40-hour workweek, plus seasonal overtime when needed. Work hours can vary and may include nights and weekends.
