Role Responsibilities
- Oversee revenue and cost accounting while ensuring governance and compliance within financial processes.
- Maintain and manage databases related to projects, vendors, and products within financial systems.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to guarantee accurate financial reporting adhering to accounting standards and rules.
- Conduct timesheet corrections and transfers related to delivery operations.
- Perform weekly evaluations of vendor timesheets and asset fees, including recording revenues across multiple office locations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries and operations of the BCG X Finance Operations mailbox.
- Support review processes for vendor and asset fee contracts to ensure precise booking of revenues and costs.
- Assist with week-end and month-end closing accounting procedures.
- Participate in transitioning BCG X financial operations from the Oracle to SAP system.
- Guarantee timely and correct recording of revenues and costs that comply with relevant accounting standards.
- Identify and address revenue or cost discrepancies and improve consistency and predictability in financial workflows.
- Collaborate with business units to streamline processes while preserving transparency in accounting activities.
Candidate Profile
- Qualification as a Chartered Accountant or equivalent; MBA in Finance is also acceptable.
- At least three years of hands-on accounting experience, including familiarity with US GAAP.
- Fundamental finance and accounting knowledge, paired with competence in financial tools such as Business Objects and SAP.
- Experience in a professional services environment is advantageous.

Working Relationships
The role involves close collaboration with the BCG X Finance team, local core finance groups, financial systems teams, and international BCG X operations focusing on tasks like timesheets and financial closing activities.
