About the Role
Join our team at the Bundaberg Concrete Plant and be instrumental in producing concrete that supports community infrastructure growth. This permanent full-time position offers long-term career growth with a leading Australian building materials company, Boral.
Reporting directly to the Plant Supervisor, you will oversee the safe and efficient batching and loading of concrete contributing to daily site operations. This role also provides exposure to wider plant activities, ideal for those aspiring to advance beyond batching responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Precisely batch concrete according to customer specifications utilizing dedicated systems and software.
- Operate a front-end loader to weigh and load raw materials accurately.
- Handle daily administrative duties including stock control and monthly forecasting.
- Support site safety programs such as pre-start checks, toolbox talks, and incident reporting.
- Assist with routine plant maintenance and maintain site cleanliness.
- Collaborate across different operational areas within the plant.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in concrete batching or in the concrete industry is highly desirable.
- A motivated and proactive individual keen to take on broader operational responsibilities and grow professionally.
- Strong computer literacy with confidence managing multiple systems.
- Commitment to safety and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Flexibility to support various areas within the plant as needed.
