Role overview
SSP UK & Ireland is hiring an experienced Barista for the Starbucks outlet at Newcastle Airport. This is a fixed-term position running until the end of October 2026.
The hourly pay is £12.71, with an additional £1.20 per hour for shifts worked between midnight and 6:00 AM. That means the enhanced rate for those hours is £13.91 per hour.
Working hours are scheduled between 3:00 AM and 11:00 PM, and flexibility is needed across weekdays, weekends, bank holidays, and public holidays.
SSP partners with well-known brands such as M&S, Starbucks, Burger King, and BrewDog, serving customers in airports, railway stations, and motorway service areas across the UK and Ireland. The role offers a lively hospitality environment with a strong team atmosphere.
