About the Role

Le Parc by tashas is getting ready to open in Mouille Point, and the team is hiring experienced and enthusiastic Baristas to help launch the venue.

In this role, each drink is expected to receive the same level of care and precision as the kitchen’s food offerings. From classic espresso drinks to distinctive signature beverages, you will help shape guest moments through quality, presentation, and service.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys coffee, pays close attention to detail, and thrives in a guest-facing environment where hospitality matters as much as technical skill.

Role Purpose

Your focus will be on preparing excellent beverages and delivering standout guest experiences through strong product knowledge, genuine service, and consistent execution.

Key Duties

Beverage Preparation

• Make and serve espresso-based coffees, teas, and specialty drinks in line with brand standards.
• Prepare a range of beverages such as coffees, smoothies, shakes, and selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with accuracy and consistency.
• Present every drink neatly and ensure it is made with care.
• Keep an eye on coffee quality, grinder settings, and espresso extraction to uphold a high standard.
• Set up fresh ingredients and prep items before each service period.
• Stay well informed about products so you can confidently describe drinks, ingredients, and flavour notes to guests.

Guest Service

• Greet guests with warmth and create positive interactions throughout their visit.
• Suggest beverages based on what guests enjoy or prefer.
• Prepare orders accurately and ensure timely delivery.
• Stay alert to guest needs and help support a smooth dining experience.
• Maintain a professional, friendly, and welcoming manner at all times.

Bar Operations

• Keep the coffee station tidy, organised, stocked, and service-ready.
• Track inventory and raise stock needs in advance.
• Refill supplies and maintain appropriate levels of ingredients, glassware, and bar tools.
• Check fridge temperatures and store ingredients correctly.
• Look after coffee machines, grinders, and other bar equipment so they remain in good working order.
• Contribute ideas and effort toward better beverage quality and smoother operations.

Teamwork and Growth

• Collaborate with Front of House and Back of House teams to support excellent service delivery.
• Assist with onboarding and supporting new team members.
• Share knowledge and help maintain a positive, professional workplace.
• Represent the values and culture of the Tashas Group in daily interactions.
• Set a strong example through reliability, professionalism, and willingness to help the wider team.

Health, Safety, and Compliance

• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in the bar area.
• Follow all relevant food safety, hygiene, and health requirements.
• Handle, store, and prepare ingredients according to company standards.
• Carry out opening, closing, and cleaning routines consistently.
• Escalate equipment faults or maintenance needs without delay.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a barista with experience in a premium café, restaurant, or hospitality setting and strong practical knowledge of espresso preparation, milk texturing, and coffee extraction.

Experience with specialty drinks, smoothies, shakes, and basic cocktails will be an advantage. The right candidate will bring a genuine interest in coffee and hospitality, along with a commitment to detail, consistency, and excellent guest service.

You should be calm, organised, collaborative, and ready to work in a busy environment. A flexible schedule is essential, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Additional Information
