Barista

Overview

Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi is seeking a Barista to prepare high-quality coffee and beverage orders while providing warm, attentive, and personalized guest service. The role calls for consistency in drink quality, a tidy and well-kept bar area, and support for the smooth running of day-to-day operations. The ideal person will be organized, detail-oriented, efficient in a busy setting, and focused on creating memorable experiences for guests.

Key Duties

• Make coffee and beverage orders to a high standard and keep product quality consistent.
• Deliver friendly, attentive, and personalized service to guests.
• Keep the bar and surrounding work area clean and orderly.
• Support the daily workflow so operations remain smooth and efficient.
• Handle several orders and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Work closely with service and culinary colleagues to ensure good coordination.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working as a Barista or in a café or restaurant setting is preferred.
• Strong organization and time-management skills, with careful attention to detail.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks and priorities under pressure.
• Customer-first attitude with a polite, service-minded approach.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
• Self-motivated, practical, and able to work with limited supervision.
• Basic understanding of coffee preparation, brewing techniques, and equipment use.
• English fluency is required; knowledge of other languages is an added advantage.

Additional Information

This role is with Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The position is full-time and based onsite.
