Role overview
This bank-shift housekeeping position is based at Cygnet Fountains in Blackburn. The role supports the creation and upkeep of a safe, hygienic environment for people receiving care.
About the service
Cygnet Fountains is a level 2 inpatient rehabilitation service for men with severe and long-term mental health conditions. Some service users may have been detained under the Mental Health Act. People are typically referred after repeated placement breakdowns, unsuccessful treatment pathways, or when moving on from secure care settings.
What you will do
- Keep the site to a consistently high standard of cleanliness.
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning routines.
- Restock supplies and ensure cleaning equipment remains clean and in good working order.
- Follow safe systems of work and comply with health and safety procedures.
- Work in line with COSHH requirements when handling substances.
