Role Overview

We are seeking National Training Standard (NTS) certified Credentialed Background Investigators to join us in Atlanta, GA. This role involves conducting thorough interviews with subjects, their employers, associates, and references, as well as reviewing relevant records to gather facts and resolve all significant case issues. Investigators will establish the background, reputation, character, suitability, or qualifications of investigative subjects and prepare detailed investigative reports within strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive interviews with subjects and other knowledgeable individuals relevant to an investigation.
• Review and analyze records to collect factual information addressing material concerns.
• Document and compile detailed investigation reports in a timely manner.
• Ensure adherence to investigative standards and deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Commitment to supporting national security missions with integrity and professionalism.
• Strong work ethic and a positive, proactive attitude.
• Physical ability to walk, type, sit, or stand for extended durations.
• Excellent time management skills to meet strict report timelines.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing detailed and comprehensive reports.
• Background investigation experience is required.
• A university degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience with at least three years of related professional experience.
• Proven track record of quality, timeliness, and meeting production goals.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance through Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
• Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation; daily local travel is required and use of public transit is acceptable if practical.

Security Clearance

Candidates must have or be able to obtain a favorable adjudication for Top-Secret Clearance based on a T5 or Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
