Back Office Executive

Position Overview

Magna Metal & Mill Stores invites applications for the role of Back Office Executive based in Chandigarh. This full-time position requires 2 to 4 years of professional experience and involves supporting the sales and operations functions particularly in the domains of Electrical Switchgear, Pumps, and Industrial Equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare and input customer quotations with all commercial specifics including product descriptions, quantities, prices, and discounts.
• Provide assistance to customers and sales personnel regarding product pricing and stock availability.
• Maintain updated price lists and quotation documentation systematically.
• Liaise with store and warehouse teams to ensure timely and coordinated dispatch of materials.
• Assist in the preparation of dispatch paperwork and order records.
• Proactively follow up on pending quotations and customer orders internally.
• Address customer queries via phone, WhatsApp, and email as needed.
• Keep organized records of all quotations, orders, and customer data.
• Provide routine back-office support to the sales team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Excel and fundamental computer operations.
• Comfort with using email, WhatsApp, and software for billing and quotations.
• High numerical accuracy and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to interpret product codes, quantities, and pricing structures.
• Basic communication skills in both Hindi and English.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with customers, sales teams, and warehouse staff.

Preferred Experience

• Prior work experience in Electrical Switchgear, Pumps, Industrial Products, Electrical Trading, Hardware, Building Materials, or Industrial Distribution industries is favored.

Education and Eligibility

Candidates who have graduated, hold a diploma, or have completed 12th grade with relevant work experience are encouraged to apply.

Compensation

Monthly salary ranges from 18,000 to 28,000 INR.
