Job Overview

The B2 Avionics Technician is entrusted with delivering top-notch support for both maintenance and flight line tasks to ensure maximum operational availability of the helicopter fleet, adhering strictly to quality and safety benchmarks. This role includes conducting detailed inspections, assembling, installing, repairing, or substituting aircraft components and systems. The technician also performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, refurbishment projects, and functional tests on components. On-the-job training will be provided as necessary.

Key Duties

  • Follow all aviation safety, quality, and export control regulations closely.
  • Adhere to Airbus Helicopters’ management systems, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate effectively as a team member in executing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on helicopter fleets within client environments.
  • Carry out aircraft maintenance, repairs, inspections, and quality assurance tasks individually or collaboratively, ensuring proper documentation in line with corporate and customer policies.
  • Before maintenance, verify tools and Ground Support Equipment for condition and validity and use them correctly.
  • Inspect components and parts prior to maintenance for damage or leaks and confirm documentation applicability.
  • Conduct electrical assembly, system integration and modification tasks, system repairs, quality inspections, and functional checks.
  • Diagnose and isolate faults in integrated avionics instruments and flight control systems; perform system checkouts including repairs, overhauls, modifications, alignments, and installations.
  • Inspect avionic instruments and flight control systems thoroughly.
  • Record all maintenance work comprehensively and sign off progressively on documentation.
  • Ensure proper handling and control of aircraft parts and materials.
  • Update aircraft status for scheduled tasks and deferred items; confirm airworthiness and authorize Release to Service.
  • Execute assigned tasks from the Site Manager to ensure timely completion and meet delivery standards.
  • Deliver on-the-job training and instruct personnel on maintenance manual usage and safety directives including Foreign Object Debris (FOD) procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
  • Possess practical experience with Dauphins/Panther (AS365) helicopter models.
