AVM Inspector

Overview

The Automatic Vehicle Management (AVM) Inspector will oversee AVM systems to ensure the accuracy of vehicle tracking, operational efficiency, and seamless integration with Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) platforms. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of transport operations.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting inspections of AVM systems to confirm the accuracy of real-time vehicle tracking, adherence to designated routes, and overall system performance.
• Monitoring contractor performance to ensure compliance with AVM maintenance schedules, data accuracy standards, and operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Validating the successful integration between AVM systems and other critical platforms such as Real-Time Passenger Information (RTPI), planning tools, and control center systems.
• Identifying and reporting any data inconsistencies, communication failures, or system malfunctions that could impact service delivery.
• Collaborating with operations and ITS teams to implement corrective actions and drive system enhancements.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in AVM systems, ITS, or transport operations monitoring.
• A comprehensive understanding of GPS tracking technologies, fleet management principles, and ITS integration methodologies.
• Proven experience in conducting system inspections, validating data, and monitoring performance metrics.
• Familiarity with Operations Control Center (OCC) or Traffic Control Center (TCC) operations and real-time control environments is highly desirable.
