Aviation Strategy Director

Role overview

A leading strategy consulting practice in Dublin is hiring a Senior Manager or Director to strengthen its fast-expanding team. The business operates as part of a global network and advises clients on corporate strategy, business unit strategy, growth planning, and commercial due diligence.

This position calls for an experienced management consultant who can lead aviation-focused client work, build trusted senior relationships, and help shape strategic outcomes for major organisations.

What you will do

• Partner with senior client stakeholders to define and refine corporate strategy.
• Use detailed data analysis to support growth planning and strategic decisions.
• Lead commercial due diligence assignments for M&A activity on both the buy side and the sell side.
• Take an active role in generating new business and winning additional engagements.

What we are looking for

• Prior experience in the aviation sector.
• Strong commercial judgment gained in a strategy-focused professional services environment.
• A solid record of delivering strategy work and/or commercial due diligence projects.
• Ability to evaluate markets through sizing, trend analysis, competitor review, customer analysis, and macroeconomic forecasting.
• Proven capability to lead, coordinate, and motivate teams with varied backgrounds and skill sets.
• Experience coaching and developing more junior colleagues.
• Excellent client-handling abilities, especially when working with senior stakeholders.
