Role overview

Ryanair Engineering Germany GmbH operates from Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) and has been in place since 2018 as a wholly owned Ryanair subsidiary. The wider airline group runs a large fleet of Boeing 737NG, Boeing 737 MAX 10, Boeing 737-8200 Game Changer, and Airbus A320 aircraft, with continued growth planned beyond 2030. Within Germany, the engineering teams support maintenance activities across several stations, and this opening is for an Aviation Storekeeper at BER.

The position involves working with specialised aviation systems and tools such as AMOS, eLearning, and myboeingfleet.

Key duties

  • Check incoming goods and prepare items for picking.
  • Receive deliveries and place stock into storage.
  • Handle the counter for wrapping activities.
  • Monitor shelf-life and expiry dates of stock.
  • Log inventory and stock movements in the computer system.
  • Pack and dispatch items to outstations and partner locations.
  • Track stock levels and support inventory counts.
  • Maintain the stores area in an orderly and workable condition.
  • Continue developing through role-related certified training.
  • Travel occasionally to other stations, including FMM, CGN, HHN, NRN, and NUE.
  • Carry out additional tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements

  • Prior hands-on experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is required.
  • Category B driving licence is preferred.
  • Availability for rotating shifts, including day and night shifts, is necessary.
  • Strong written and spoken English skills are needed, along with solid computer literacy in MS Office.
  • Experience with AMOS would be an advantage.
  • Good communication and organisational abilities are important.
  • A flexible mindset and the ability to work in a busy, fast-changing setting are essential.
