About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and driven Automotive Technician to become a valued part of our team at Ebbett Toyota in Te Awamutu. This role involves servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance, ensuring vehicles meet Toyota's high quality standards. You will collaborate closely with Service Advisors and the workshop team to complete repairs safely and efficiently.

Role Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle servicing and perform diagnostic assessments
- Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks to a high standard
- Ensure quality workmanship and excellent customer satisfaction
- Work efficiently alongside Service Advisors and other technicians
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a New Zealand Certificate in Automotive Engineering Level 4 or an equivalent qualification
- Hold a full New Zealand Driver's Licence
- Have a clean criminal record
- Completion of Toyota Accredited Technician training or similar qualification is highly favored
- Experience working with Toyota dealerships is an advantage
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Exhibit proficient diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Display a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills
- Take pride in delivering exceptional customer service
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, with occasional rostered Saturdays as needed.
