Job description
Role Overview
OPEN LIMITS DESIGN FOR TRADING AND CONTRACTING is seeking an experienced AutoCAD Draftsman who can handle architectural and interior fit-out shop drawings with a strong focus on precision, speed, and execution quality. The role involves supporting high-end projects and turning design intent into clear drawings ready for site use and fabrication.
Requirements
- Bring 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in architectural and interior fit-out projects.
- Have a solid background in producing architectural and interior design shop drawings.
- Be capable of preparing detailed drawings for execution, construction, and fabrication purposes.
- Experience should include luxury villas, premium residential spaces, retail environments, and commercial projects.
- Understand detailing for joinery, gypsum, metal, glass, and custom-built furniture.
- Be familiar with construction techniques, material selection, and on-site execution needs.
- Use AutoCAD at an advanced level and maintain strong attention to detail.
- Be able to coordinate effectively with MEP, structural, and architectural teams.
- Recognize design clashes and suggest practical solutions.
- Work efficiently under tight timelines while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Produce shop drawings for architectural and interior fit-out works.
- Create detailed construction and fabrication drawings.
- Liaise with designers, consultants, and site personnel to keep drawings aligned.
- Update and revise drawings according to project needs and site realities.
- Prepare as-built drawings when required.
- Ensure all drawings match project specifications and approved design intent.
Preferred Profile
- Prior exposure to luxury villa and high-end fit-out projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or similar 3D tools will be considered an added advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are beneficial for coordination.
