Attendant - Door Services

Position Overview

As a Door Attendant at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Doha, you will be responsible for warmly welcoming guests, escorting them to their rooms, and assisting with their luggage and transportation needs. Your role includes providing information about property amenities, services, and local attractions, as well as ensuring guests feel valued and well cared for throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests and accompany them to their rooms, opening doors and assisting as needed.
• Inform guests about hotel features such as room functions, in-room services, and recreational amenities.
• Handle guest luggage transport, storage, and retrieval efficiently and carefully.
• Assist guests entering and exiting vehicles and with loading/unloading luggage.
• Provide guests with directions and arrange transportation services including taxis, shuttles, and limousines.
• Communicate parking rules to guests and maintain security awareness on the premises.
• Abide by company policies, report incidents, and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Maintain a professional appearance and exhibit courteous, clear communication with guests and colleagues.
• Follow quality standards and safety protocols, including physical tasks such as moving objects and navigating various terrains.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Candidate Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• No prior work experience or supervisory responsibilities are required.
• No specific licenses or certifications necessary.

Work Conditions and Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods during shifts.
• Capable of lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds independently and heavier objects with assistance.
• Navigate uneven and slippery surfaces safely, including stairs and ramps.
• Perform physical motions such as bending, twisting, stooping, and reaching overhead.
