Key responsibilities
- Organize and manage different stages of support services, including staffing needs, client engagement team planning, time tracking, and skills evaluation.
- Take part in monitoring service quality and reviewing controls tied to delivery standards.
- Work closely with overseas teams to deliver strong client service throughout the year by overseeing RDC staff, reviewing work output, confirming proper self-review practices, guiding testing work, and tracking productivity and schedule adherence on each assignment.
- Maintain strong technical knowledge and professional standards.
- Follow and reinforce firm policies and procedures.
- Coach, develop, and motivate team members at staff level, including guidance on career growth.
- Contribute to the creation and delivery of training programs that build knowledge and expertise.
- Identify issues early, address concerns proactively, and escalate matters when needed.
- Continue building your own professional capability through ongoing learning and development.
- Handle a variety of projects and collaborate with multiple teams while applying critical thinking, problem-solving, initiative, and timely execution.
- Look for opportunities to broaden service support for US business teams.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
- Professional qualification as Chartered Accountant, ACCA, or Licensed CPA.
- Either CA with 6 years of relevant experience or ACCA/CPA with 7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including GAAP, GAAS, and IFRS.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Prior experience supervising and guiding staff effectively.
- Ability to build and sustain positive, productive, and professional working relationships.
- Comfort communicating and influencing stakeholders across all levels.
- Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written, as the role involves regular interaction with client engagement teams.
Preferred experience
- Background in the life sciences sector.
- Strong data analysis capability, including advanced Excel skills such as VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and basic formulas, along with good working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience working in a Big 4 firm.
