Asst Manager - Production, Maintenance & Quality (Building Material)

Role Overview

A leading building materials company is looking for an Assistant Manager to handle production, maintenance, and quality activities at its Hyderabad location. The role focuses on keeping operations efficient, maintaining product standards, and ensuring machinery runs safely and smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor production schedules so output targets are achieved on time.
• Oversee day-to-day plant operations, including process flow and maintenance activities.
• Improve production efficiency while identifying opportunities to reduce cost.
• Maintain adherence to defined quality standards throughout the production process.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed for all machinery and equipment.
• Support the team in meeting operational goals and performance expectations.
• Guide, encourage, and coordinate with team members to keep work on track.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have an engineering degree and 3 to 6 years of experience in production within chemicals or a similar process industry. A strong understanding of mixing, packing, and material handling systems is important, along with leadership ability, practical problem-solving skills, and good communication.

Education

B.Tech / B.E. in any specialization is required.

Additional Requirements

• Mechanical or Chemical engineering background preferred.
• Experience in production roles within chemicals or related process industries.
• Sound knowledge of plant operations, maintenance, and production planning.
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate work effectively.
• Comfortable working with quality and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.

Compensation

The compensation range is INR 6,00,000 to 9,00,000 per year.
