Job description
Role Overview
This position focuses on improving monetization performance and supporting revenue growth through well-planned sales initiatives, payment flow enhancements, and store operations. The role also involves close coordination with multiple teams and external partners to create a smoother player payment experience while maintaining a healthy long-term relationship with users.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, run, and refine monetization plans that support revenue growth, including in-game sales, top-up offers, pricing actions, and enhancements to how users complete payments.
- Track and improve important revenue indicators such as payer penetration, ARPU/ARPPU, retention among paying users, and campaign return on investment.
- Manage day-to-day in-game store activities, including content refreshes and promotional execution.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to broaden payment accessibility and improve payment method coverage, transaction success rates, and overall reliability.
- Increase revenue using approaches that are sustainable and player-friendly, balancing immediate sales gains with long-term trust and engagement.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to plan monetization campaigns, monitor results, and adjust strategies using data analysis and player feedback.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or above in finance, business, engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Prior experience in revenue management or a comparable function is preferred, with gaming industry exposure considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, along with confidence using Google Sheets or similar spreadsheet tools to work with data and draw practical conclusions.
- Clear logical reasoning and strong problem-solving ability, including the capacity to identify root causes and recommend workable solutions.
- Effective communication and project management skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and align different stakeholders.
- A genuine interest in gaming and solid familiarity with the gaming ecosystem.
