Associate - Sourcing Manager (Procurement Operations)

Job Overview

The Associate - Sourcing Manager role focuses on supporting procurement operations through comprehensive category management, supplier and contract management, compliance adherence, and strategic sourcing for technology and other lines of business. This position involves collaborating with senior executives and global teams to optimize third-party vendor engagements aligned with the company's priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support in category management deliverables such as product/service analysis, historical spend reviews, third-party operations input, and market research partnering with onshore teams, procurement operations, and supplier relationship management.
• Manage supplier relationships emphasizing gold and diverse supplier spend, segment suppliers, rationalize supplier base, and evaluate supplier capabilities.
• Drive commercial negotiations focused on achieving savings affecting profit and loss, enabling spend through electronic procurement tools.
• Oversee contract management processes ensuring improved or new master service agreements and service-level agreements are executed.
• Ensure compliance with policies including ADA, data usage restrictions, and channel purchasing guidelines.
• Build and maintain working relationships with senior technology sourcing executives and other business lines to understand their requirements for third-party collaborations.
• Lead strategy development and execution for significant sourcing transactions, including identifying qualified suppliers and performing thorough due diligence.
• Design and implement competitive sourcing processes to secure value-added supplier solutions that meet business requirements.
• Conduct evaluations of supplier proposals and manage negotiations to define commercial terms, managing contract development through approval and execution.
• Collaborate closely with internal legal, risk, third-party oversight, and finance teams to successfully conclude complex negotiations.
• Ensure vendor compliance to service-level agreements through coordination with internal partners and client teams.
• Perform deep dive cost and spend analysis to identify and develop cost reduction and savings initiatives.
• Partner with global teams on sourcing projects at local, regional, and global levels.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in technology sourcing, particularly with global and regional third-party providers.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing, procurement, and contracting principles and practices.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities with solid interpersonal skills and sound judgment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex assignments and deals effectively within tight deadlines.
• Comfortable working across all management levels within the bank and collaborating with diverse regional teams.
