Job Description

Condé Nast Traveler US is seeking a creative and forward-thinking Associate Social Media Manager to join our global audience development, social, and analytics team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate is deeply immersed in the digital landscape, possessing a keen understanding of how to leverage social media to cultivate, engage, and inform audiences across various platforms. You should be aware of emerging channels, stay ahead of social media trends, and apply critical thinking to identify effective participation strategies for CNT US. This role requires strong content creation abilities, including sharp copywriting, a deep appreciation for on-brand visuals suitable for social media, and enthusiasm for capturing on-the-ground video content and managing quick-turnaround projects. In addition to content creation and daily posting, you will collaborate with social and audience development teams to execute a comprehensive social strategy across platforms like TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and other emerging channels, providing regular performance reports with actionable insights. You will report directly to the Global Director of Social for CNT and work closely with the US editorial team, global social team, analysts, reporters, and designers to bring the Condé Nast Traveler brand to life on social media. A genuine passion for and general knowledge of travel is essential for this position.

Additional Information

The expected base salary range for this position is between $71,500 and $79,000 annually. Salary decisions are based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education. In addition to a competitive salary and comprehensive employee benefits, eligible employees may receive discretionary bonus compensation. This is a guild position.
