Job description
About the company
Randstad is a worldwide talent partner focused on building a more equitable and specialised talent landscape. Through four core specialisations, the company helps clients access high-quality, diverse and adaptable workforces that can thrive in a market where talent is scarce. In Singapore, the organisation brings together professionals across HR, Sales and Marketing, Accounting and Finance, Life Sciences, Legal, Engineering, and Banking and Financial Services.
The company provides healthcare and wellness benefits, along with a competitive salary and commission plan. Team members also gain access to performance bonuses, broad learning and development programmes, and personalised development plans designed to accelerate career growth.
About the role
In this Associate Consultant position, you will work with support from a manager and an experienced mentor. The role offers exposure to collaboration with wider business teams as well as regional market colleagues.
This opportunity is suitable for candidates with internship exposure in recruitment agencies, in-house HR, research, or for professionals from other backgrounds who want to move into recruitment, build a new career path, and make a meaningful impact through a different purpose.
Key responsibilities
- Use internal systems and external sourcing channels to identify and shortlist talent for a specific function or industry.
- Review, evaluate, and qualify candidates by matching their background to the job requirements, company culture, and personality fit.
- Build and nurture trusted relationships with clients using industry insights and labour market knowledge gathered from Randstad research or independent research.
- Support interview scheduling, expectation management, and reference verification.
- Stay informed about market movements and sector developments to help clients and talent build stronger outcomes.
Team environment
You will join a high-performing group with strong support, a collaborative culture, and opportunities to work across business lines and regional markets. The environment is described as energetic, demanding, and enjoyable.
Experience and background
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in sales, talent acquisition, engineering, audit, or another background with an interest in building a rewarding career in sales and recruitment. Strong teamwork, leadership ability, goal orientation, self-motivation, communication skills, and business development capability are important.
