Job description
Role overview
Amazon is focused on being the most customer-obsessed company in the world, building experiences that help customers find and buy almost anything online. The organization has grown from an online store into a broader technology and publishing ecosystem, and that growth is powered by a culture of ownership, invention, and action. Teams across the business work on new ideas, products, and services that make things easier for customers while keeping a strong pace and a collaborative mindset.
In India, the company entered the market through Junglee.com and later launched Amazon.in to offer shoppers low prices, broad selection, dependable delivery, and a secure, convenient shopping experience. The India operations network includes 40+ fulfillment centers across major cities, more than 5.5 million square feet of storage space, distribution centers in 250+ cities, 42+ sort centers, and delivery coverage across 19,000+ pin codes. The person in this position will support the Operations hiring vertical by helping fill urgent and planned hiring needs, working closely with business leaders to understand both short-term and long-term workforce requirements, and developing sourcing approaches for large-scale hiring as well as specialized roles. The role also requires a strong focus on candidate experience, problem-solving, and the ability to adapt quickly when priorities change.
