Role overview
Google is hiring for its Fall 2026 APMM cohort. This position sits within the Associate Product Marketing Manager program, a global early-career track designed to build broad marketing capability through real project work, guided learning, and mentorship. The role is based onsite and may also be placed at the Playa Vista, California campus.
As an APMM, you will contribute to priority marketing initiatives inside the organization, help support business objectives, and complete learning milestones as part of the program. You will work with mentors and senior leaders, collaborate with peers and alumni, and take part in APMM programming and community activities. Project work may include representing the user perspective in product development, shaping go-to-market plans, supporting growth marketing efforts, building brand strategy, gathering user insights, or helping run campaigns and related programs.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to go-to-market planning and launch campaigns for new products or features, and help evaluate results against performance goals.
- Support customer acquisition efforts through messaging, collateral, events, and other program components, while tracking their effectiveness.
- Help assess product or feature enhancements, launch readiness, and the communication needed to share updates with users.
- Assist in preparing narratives, presentations, case studies, and other content for clients, executives, and Google’s customers and agency partners.
- Carry out marketing tasks as part of larger projects under managerial guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Background in marketing, brand management, strategy consulting, agency work, technology, or a related area through full-time employment, internships, projects, or academic coursework.
- About 3 years of full-time work experience is preferred.
- Interest in Google’s product ecosystem, its technological innovations, and its leadership in artificial intelligence.
- Ability to work across disciplines, industries, cultures, and ambiguous situations with agility and a global perspective.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and research/investigation skills.
- Experience with strategy development, project/program coordination, and clear communication.
Compensation and benefits
The stated US pay range is USD 95,000 to 136,000 annually, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits. Pay is influenced by role-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Eligible US-based employees receive a benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage; a 401(k) with company match; paid vacation; sick time; maternity and baby bonding leave; and paid holidays.
- Vacation: 20 days per year, accruing at 6.15 hours per pay period during the first five years
- Sick time: 40 hours per year, or 69 hours per year for Seattle, plus 5 discretionary sick days per instance
- Maternity leave: 28 to 30 weeks
- Baby bonding leave: 18 weeks
- Paid holidays: 13 days per year

Preferred working locations can be selected from San Francisco, Kirkland, Mountain View, New York, Los Angeles, San Bruno, Seattle, or Sunnyvale in the United States.
