About Courted
Courted is an AI-driven platform transforming real estate recruiting, retention, and market insights. Serving brokerages and teams, it streamlines understanding of agent performance, strategic recruitment, and talent retention by integrating data, machine learning, and workflow efficiency.
The real estate sector involves over $100 billion annually in commissions yet largely depends on outdated tools like spreadsheets and manual processes. Courted aims to modernize this with cutting-edge AI-powered solutions.
As a fast-growing SaaS company, Courted builds innovative tools to support next-generation real estate leadership.
Role Overview
The Associate Product Manager will collaborate closely with the VP of Product to develop Courted’s broker back office products, a critical area encompassing transaction management, onboarding agents, commissions, and accounting. This is high-impact work, addressing an industry still heavily reliant on manual processes.
The role involves hands-on product discovery, prototype creation, MVP development, beta testing, and continuous iteration based on real broker and operations feedback. You'll not just document or manage tickets but actively use AI design and coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Figma to bring product concepts to life.
This position suits someone early in their career but ambitious and proactive, eager to take ownership beyond typical entry-level roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership to build the broker back office product from concept through launch and iteration.
- Engage with brokers and operations teams to understand their workflows and challenges.
- Integrate customer insights, product metrics, business priorities, and technical limits into actionable guidance.
- Create working prototypes and minimal viable products using AI-assisted tools.
- Manage product workstreams from problem definition to release and improvement.
- Analyze data, APIs, permissions, and workflows to diagnose product behaviors.
- Run experiments by defining hypotheses, executing tests, analyzing outcomes, and advising on next steps.
- Work with engineering to decide which explorations should be hardened for production.
- Partner with design to enhance user interactions and product quality.
- Conduct thorough self-review to identify flaws and verify AI-generated outputs.
- Gather user feedback to inform iterative product decisions.
- Stay updated on AI tools and integrate valuable technologies into workflows.
Candidate Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in product, engineering, design, analytics, operations, consulting, startups, or similar domains; prior product management experience not mandatory.
- Demonstrable experience delivering a functional product or project (e.g., side project, app, startup, prototype).
- Proficient in leveraging AI tools for building, analyzing, and refining work beyond just summarizing or drafting.
- Quick adaptability to new products, technical concepts, or industries.
- Strong initiative with ownership mindset; proactive in surfacing obstacles and progressing without explicit instructions.
- Comfort navigating documents, designs, data, and code with curiosity about software workings.
- Customer-focused, able to discern core problems beyond surface-level feature requests.
- Developing sensibility for product interaction quality and value creation.
- Critical awareness of AI limitations paired with rigorous self-checking habits.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative, open to feedback, and receptive to iterative team progress.
- Preferred: familiarity with B2B SaaS, real estate, fintech, APIs, SQL, or complex operational workflows.
Why Choose Courted?
- Early product ownership with visible customer impact.
- Mentorship from senior leadership supporting growth towards autonomous product areas.
- Opportunity to pioneer AI-native product development approaches.
- Work at the intersection of AI and a multi-billion-dollar industry demanding better software.
- Engagement with founders, customers, designers, and engineers in a rapid-growth environment.
Work Culture and Environment
- Small, focused team prioritizing speed, transparency, and accountability.
- Strong sense of ownership where all members contribute to building and refining ideas.
- Competitive on outcomes, not titles or credit.
- High trust environment with attention to detail and fast execution.
- Candid feedback culture with openness to change and continuous learning.
- Respectful debate on ideas and maintaining humor through challenges.
