Role overview
This position supports the senior portfolio management team in overseeing, evaluating, and actively managing the Keppel Infrastructure Fund series portfolio. The work is centred on analysis backed by data, ongoing portfolio tracking, financial modelling, and the creation of decision-support materials aimed at improving portfolio outcomes and achieving strong risk-adjusted returns.
Portfolio monitoring and analysis
- Work with portfolio companies to collect operational updates, financial results, and progress against strategic plans in a timely manner.
- Refresh fund-level financial models to support regular performance reviews and return tracking.
- Perform both numerical and qualitative analysis of portfolio performance, risk factors, return drivers, and strategic initiatives.
- Identify emerging opportunities and potential risks early to help assess the future return outlook.
Portfolio company engagement
- Maintain and update portfolio company financial models used for decision-making, periodic valuation, and strategy review.
- Evaluate macroeconomic and company-specific factors to inform strategic choices.
- Review periodic results and prepare high-quality reports and presentations for investors and other stakeholders.
- Assist with onboarding new portfolio companies into Keppel systems and align reporting and data-collection standards.
Transactions and fundraising support
- Support divestment activities through financial modelling, due diligence, and coordination with internal and external parties.
- Contribute to fundraising efforts by preparing presentations and other supporting materials.
Requirements
- A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a closely related field is required.
- At least 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in infrastructure, private equity investing, investment banking, corporate finance, or consulting.
- Strong capability in analysis and financial modelling, together with sound commercial judgement.
- Clear written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to handle several priorities simultaneously in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
