- Build, review and update financial models used to evaluate potential investments, and communicate the results to key stakeholders.
- Coordinate due diligence across legal, financial, tax, commercial, technical and ESG workstreams by working with internal teams and external advisers.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external advisors on the negotiation, structuring and preparation of transaction documents, contracts and financing arrangements.
- Draft investment memoranda, presentations and other supporting materials needed for decision-making and approvals.
- Manage investment and divestment processes, including both competitive auction processes and bilateral/off-market deals.
- Contribute to asset management planning and execution after close, including integration planning, performance monitoring, implementation of the business plan and exit preparation.
- Support periodic reporting requirements such as quarterly and annual investor meetings, and help prepare marketing and communication collateral for internal and external audiences.
Requirements
- Typically 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in investment roles, preferably in fund management, corporate finance, M&A, valuation, investment banking, corporate principal investment teams or accounting firms, with exposure to infrastructure. Candidates with fewer years but exceptionally strong experience and capability may also be considered.
- Strong academic background.
- Good understanding of market and industry research within infrastructure.
- Comfortable managing day-to-day deliverables independently, with a detail-focused approach and a willingness to tackle hands-on tasks to meet deadlines.
- Able to juggle multiple priorities, adapt quickly and perform effectively in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong analytical mindset, sound judgment and advanced financial modelling capability.
- Capable of contributing to investment and asset management decisions.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work well across functions and seniority levels.
