  • Provide support for basic graphic design tasks using established templates.
  • Maintain image metadata, track usage rights, and organize digital files within the media asset management system.
  • Work with editors, designers, and photo staff to ensure visuals fit the accompanying written content.
  • Check image quality across brands and surface any concerns for review.
  • Assist photo editors with special assignments when needed.
  • Help maintain a high editorial bar so that visuals remain clear, accurate, engaging, and reliable.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in photography, visual arts, journalism, or a similar discipline, or comparable hands-on experience.
  • Comfort and proficiency using Adobe Photoshop and the wider Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Working knowledge of image licensing, copyright, and rights management.
  • Sound editorial judgement and a sharp eye for strong photography.
  • Careful attention to detail in both editorial review and production work.
  • Ability to juggle several deadlines at once while maintaining quality.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills for distributed teamwork.
  • Preferred: 0–1 year of experience in photo editing or visual media, including internship experience.
  • Preferred: experience with a digital asset management platform.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Figma, Airtable, and WordPress.
  • Preferred: understanding of the digital media environment and current visual trends.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Retirement options including 401(k) and IRA.
  • Life insurance coverage, including basic, voluntary, and AD&D.
  • Paid time off for vacation, sick leave, and public holidays.
  • Family leave benefits, including maternity and paternity leave.
  • Short-term and long-term disability coverage.
  • Training and professional development support.
  • Work-from-home flexibility.
