About the role

PwC’s customer consulting practice works with organisations to improve customer-facing strategies and deliver stronger business outcomes. Within customer marketing, the focus is on building marketing strategies that are centred on customer behaviour and engagement, helping businesses strengthen relationships and grow revenue.

In this role, you will support marketing operations and help improve how campaigns, processes, and technology work together. You will work with teams across the business to refine marketing approaches, apply process improvements, and contribute to initiatives that enhance customer experience and business performance.

What you will do

  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing operations and related processes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to strengthen marketing strategies and execution.
  • Help introduce technology-enabled solutions that improve performance and efficiency.
  • Promote a mindset of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Review market developments and use them to align marketing activity with business objectives.
  • Support the planning and rollout of marketing initiatives aimed at delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with project stakeholders.
  • Track project milestones and adapt plans when priorities or conditions change.

What you need to bring

  • You should have 2 years of professional experience.
  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills are required.
  • An MBA from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institution, or another full-time master’s degree relevant to the role, is needed.
  • You should understand CRM, customer experience, and front-office processes.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, stakeholder handling, and communication skills are essential.
  • You must be able to organise analyses, create presentation-ready materials for leadership, and manage several priorities at once.
  • Experience in consulting or industry roles covering sales, service, marketing, or customer transformation/front-office consulting is preferred.
  • You should be familiar with MarTech platforms such as Adobe Marketo/AJO, AEP, Eloqua, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, as well as CRM tools like Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or Oracle.

Preferred strengths

  • Exposure to client work in sales, service, or marketing transformation programmes.
  • Ability to assess existing business processes, operating models, and customer journeys.
  • Capability to help shape future-state processes, team structures, and capability plans.
  • Experience contributing to CRM, customer service, and marketing technology transformation efforts.
  • Skill in developing presentations, business cases, workshops, and client-facing deliverables.
  • Ability to carry out market research, benchmarking, and data analysis to create actionable insights.
  • Understanding of how MarTech platforms connect with CRM systems, eCommerce portals, and analytics tools.
  • Comfort working with global clients and diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with marketing technology frameworks and automation tools.
  • Knowledge of customer data platforms, segmentation, and marketing analytics.
  • Exposure to digital commerce tools and processes.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and deliver workstreams on time and with high quality.
