  • Convert complex technical, commercial, and strategic information into clear messages tailored for local media audiences.
  • Help safeguard the company’s reputation by anticipating communication risks and resolving misunderstandings or ambiguous messaging early.
  • Collaborate with spokespeople and prepare briefing material that supports effective media engagement and strengthens the market’s thought-leadership profile.
  • Coordinate Nokia-hosted events and outside public events as part of media relations and communications activity.
  • Track media coverage, assess campaign outcomes, and prepare reports for the global marketing and communications function.

Skills and experience needed

  • Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong background in public relations or professional communications.
  • Ability to juggle several priorities across cross-functional teams in fast-paced, deadline-oriented settings.
  • Experience working effectively with diverse international and cross-cultural teams.
  • Excellent English and Arabic writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality media and executive content under pressure.
  • Strong troubleshooting mindset with a customer-focused, proactive, and hands-on approach.
  • Established relationships with relevant local media contacts.
  • Working knowledge of French or other additional languages is an advantage.
  • Experience handling reactive communications and issues management is preferred.
