Role Overview
As an Associate Manager, Paid Social, you will own day-to-day paid social campaign execution, help improve performance through analysis and testing, support client communication, and collaborate across internal teams to deliver strong outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Run and optimize paid social activity across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and newer social channels.
- Track campaign performance, make ongoing improvements, and keep work aligned with client objectives and broader business goals.
- Help prepare client-facing communication and presentations by turning performance data into clear insights and practical recommendations.
- Strengthen client relationships through responsiveness, accuracy, and a proactive, solution-first approach.
- Review campaign data to spot patterns, opportunities, and performance gaps.
- Create testing plans, assess outcomes, and use findings to improve efficiency and results.
- Work closely with Creative, Analytics, Strategy, and other channel teams to support integrated marketing plans.
- Guide and mentor Associates and newer colleagues as needed.
- Contribute to team learning, share useful knowledge, and help uphold quality standards across account work.
- Look for opportunities to expand services, experiment with new platform features, and support wider client goals.
- Bring forward ideas that can add more value for clients.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates bring paid social or digital media experience, strong analytical capability, and comfort working in a fast-moving agency setting. The role also calls for client communication skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a willingness to keep learning as platforms evolve.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in paid social, digital media, or performance marketing, preferably in an agency environment.
- Practical experience managing campaigns on platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, Pinterest, Snapchat, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical ability with the skill to interpret performance data and turn it into actionable recommendations.
- Experience supporting client conversations and presenting campaign results to internal or external stakeholders.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage several priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across different teams and disciplines.
- Curiosity, flexibility, and a commitment to continuous learning in a changing digital environment.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior teammates is considered a plus.

- This role is hybrid and based in Seattle or Brooklyn (NYC), with about 2 days per week in the office.

Compensation
The annual base salary range for this position is USD 75,000 to 85,000. Final pay will depend on the candidate’s experience and qualifications, and the applicable market for the role.
Work Location and Hiring Scope
New Engen has offices in Seattle, New York, and Northwest Arkansas, and also supports a distributed workforce across the United States. Full-time hiring is currently available in Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
