Job description
Role Overview
Join the Artist & Label Partnerships function to collaborate with labels, artists, and managers on initiatives that strengthen frontline label partners and distributors. In this role, you’ll partner with the Music Partnerships & Audience group on local initiatives and coordinate with international teams on global campaigns. You’ll also help advance marketing and partnership efforts that benefit both the client and its industry partners, while supporting technical questions and day-to-day troubleshooting for partners.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Act as an external representative of the Label Partnerships team, meeting with frontline label partners and building strong, mutually valuable relationships.
- Help shape and deliver new artist development programs that serve both the client and its industry partners.
- Support senior colleagues with major marketing campaigns, priority projects, and routine administrative coordination across key partners.
- Contribute to industry education efforts for the independent music community, including masterclasses and roadshow-style events.
- Organize incoming requests, release schedules, and partner-provided information for the Indie Partnerships team.
- Review, track, and help move forward inbound requests across internal and external workflows.
- Look for ways to make team operations more efficient and scalable.
- Arrange artist and label meetings, including visits and related scheduling.
- Capture clear, well-structured notes in both internal and external meetings.

The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic indie music follower with prior experience in partner management and strong teamwork skills. You should be comfortable juggling multiple priorities, keeping operations tight, solving problems quickly, and supporting broader team goals while helping build programs and campaigns.
Requirements
- 2 to 3+ years of experience in partner management, project coordination, or global marketing campaigns.
- Strong interest in music, with familiarity across multiple genres and music cultures.
- Working knowledge of the music business, including experience with labels and/or artist management.
- Solid understanding of the market, competitors, and current industry trends and innovations.
- Familiarity with the independent frontline music space, including major labels, artists, and trends.
- Proven ability to develop and sustain professional relationships.
- Clear, transparent, and effective communication style.
- Excellent organization, strong attention to detail, and the ability to meet demanding deadlines.
- Comfort in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment.
- Self-driven, optimistic, and entrepreneurial in approach, with a problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn new skills as business needs change.
- Willingness to travel and attend evening and weekend events.
Compensation and Work Setup
This position is based in Los Angeles or New York and reports to the Lead, Indie Partnerships & Programs. The role is hybrid and requires 3 days onsite each week.
The target hiring compensation range is $43.00 to $45.00. Pay is determined by several factors, including education, relevant experience, relevant certifications, and location.
