Role overview

Michael Kors is hiring an Associate Manager for Global Brand Marketing in the New York City Metropolitan Area. In this position, you will support the execution and alignment of the global marketing strategy and help deliver 360-degree brand campaigns across international markets.

What you will do

  • Assist the Director and Senior Manager with seasonal global marketing planning.
  • Make sure cross-functional teams are aligned so the seasonal presentation and plan come together cohesively.
  • Coordinate regional support calendars for EMEA franchise markets, LATAM, and Mexico.
  • Work with regional marketing teams to build seasonal plans and balance local requirements with global consistency.
  • Collaborate with PR, social, creative, media, and VIP/influencer teams to assess regional plans and carry out the global strategy.
  • Partner closely with the EMEA Franchise Senior Manager to confirm regional business needs are addressed.
  • Lead the global customer activation process together with the coordinator.
  • Work with Creative and Visual Merchandising partners to shape seasonal retail activation plans.
  • Develop activation options that can scale across regions while supporting the seasonal brand direction.
  • Review regional activation plans for EMEA Franchise markets, LATAM, and Mexico and provide feedback to maintain a consistent global brand message.
  • Manage the GWP process with the coordinator by working with the GWP agency on yearly assortments and seasonal gifts.
  • Ensure all necessary teams are involved in GWP discussions, including design and legal.
  • Handle seasonal packaging requirements such as gift wrap, boxes, and bags.
  • Prepare briefs in Wrike and coordinate with the creative team to support smooth delivery.
  • Oversee competitive presentation work, including ad hoc requests and quarterly US competitive updates.
  • Support product licensee marketing alongside the Senior Manager for categories such as fragrance, eyewear, watches, and jewelry.
  • Ensure retail and wholesale marketing support is delivered at seasonal milestones and for new product introductions.
  • Review and support local licensee activations so they remain on-brand and aligned with the broader strategy.
  • Help manage the Golf Ambassador program by coordinating with the design team on custom product development, fitting, and delivery.
  • Track ambassador contract requirements, including bonuses and appearances.
  • Contribute fresh ideas for brand innovation, such as social buzz moments, pop-ups, and customer activations.
  • Support the coordinator’s learning and professional growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of marketing experience is needed.
  • Global marketing exposure is preferred, though not mandatory.
  • Ability to guide and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • People management capability is required.
  • Comfortable presenting to large audiences.
  • Strong ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Must perform well in a fast-paced environment with strict on-time delivery expectations.
  • Clear, proactive, and creative communication style.
  • Self-driven, energetic, and focused on results.
