About the Role
This position sits within the Digital Ecommerce team in Calabasas, CA and follows a hybrid schedule with 3 days on site. The role reports to the Senior Ecommerce Manager for Amazon and supports the US and Canada business for ghd.

Role Overview
The Associate Manager, Ecommerce - Marketplaces is accountable for increasing net revenue and overseeing marketplace media investment across assigned channels. The role primarily manages paid media spend through PPC and selected DSP activity, making trade-off decisions that balance traffic, conversion, efficiency, and profitability. It also sets priorities across catalog quality, content, merchandising, promotions, and retail media, while continuously monitoring performance and finding ways to improve outcomes in a fast-moving retail setting.
What You Will Do
- Improve net revenue across assigned marketplace channels while managing advertising investment responsibly and protecting ROI.
- Build, launch, and refine full-funnel retail media programs across Amazon Ads, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP, as well as newer platforms such as Walmart Connect.
- Work closely with merchandising and supply chain teams to guide inventory planning, support demand forecasting, and align execution around core assortment, hero products, and promotions.
- Own marketplace catalog and content operations end to end, ensuring listings remain accurate, compliant, and aligned with brand standards across Amazon, Walmart, and other priority marketplaces.
- Lead optimization of Brand Store and merchandising placements, using new Amazon features and programs to improve engagement, consideration, and brand loyalty.
- Interpret performance data across transaction, customer, platform, and account metrics, turning insights into actions that support ongoing improvement and scalable growth.
- Use advanced tools and reporting sources such as Amazon Brand Analytics, Helium 10, and retailer-native dashboards to spot risks and opportunities and support stronger decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is required; a background in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 3 years of direct Amazon ecommerce experience, covering both 1P and 3P models, with hands-on ownership of execution.
- Strong knowledge of catalog management, marketplace SEO, and content optimization.
- Experience handling Amazon Ads and/or other retail media campaigns.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage several priorities in a fast-paced, performance-focused environment.
- A collaborative, ethical professional who works well with others and acts with integrity.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to raise issues clearly and provide progress updates when needed.
- Comfort and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience in the beauty industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Stackline, or similar platforms is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
The pay range for this role is $86,250 to $98,000 per year. Final compensation may fall above or below this range based on factors such as location, experience, skills, and internal pay comparisons.
This role may also be eligible for additional rewards such as an annual bonus or variable pay, depending on the position. The company also offers benefits including health insurance, life and disability coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays, and paid time off.
