About the Role
Lesha Bank is in a strong growth phase and is looking for a driven Associate to join its Private Wealth team in Doha. The role sits within a fast-moving environment where each day brings new priorities and the chance to add value quickly. The position reports to the Chief Private Wealth Officer.
Purpose of the Role
The Associate will help Relationship Directors manage and expand client relationships, support the execution of investment opportunities, coordinate the onboarding of new clients, and uphold a high standard of service across the Private Wealth business.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Relationship Directors in handling portfolios for High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients.
- Attend client meetings and support the preparation of investment proposals, presentation materials, and portfolio review documents, while also managing emails, records, and meeting notes.
- Build cash flow models and perform portfolio analysis in Excel.
- Support client onboarding and coordinate know-your-customer checks and account-opening activities.
- Track investment opportunities, subscriptions, redemptions, and document follow-ups with clients.
- Work with Investments, Operations, Compliance, Treasury, and Legal teams to ensure client requests and transactions are completed on time.
- Review client portfolios and assist with regular investment and performance reporting.
- Maintain strong client relationships and deliver consistently high service standards.
- Contribute to marketing and capital-raising efforts for private market and investment solutions.
- Coach junior colleagues and provide assistance to the Client Services team when needed.
Experience and Qualifications
The bank is seeking professionals with 4 to 7 years of experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management, Asset Management, or Corporate Banking. A solid grasp of investment products, capital markets, and alternative investments is important, along with prior exposure to HNW and UHNW clients. The role also requires strong communication, relationship management, and presentation capabilities. English fluency is required, and Arabic is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline is needed. Professional credentials such as CFA, CISI, or similar will be viewed favorably.
Technical and Functional Skills
Advanced Excel is needed for cash flow modelling, portfolio tracking, and scenario analysis. Strong PowerPoint ability is required for client-facing presentations. Familiarity with CRM platforms and portfolio management tools is also important. Knowledge of private markets and alternatives is considered an advantage. The role requires fluent Arabic and English communication in both written and spoken form.
