Overview
This role offers the chance to broaden your expertise in insurance by engaging in various underwriting and claims operations for regulated Insurance and Reinsurance companies. Join Aon's specialist Captive Management division, providing services to captive insurance entities globally. The position is hybrid, based in Dublin with flexibility to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and client communications delivering tailored insurance services for captive insurance and reinsurance entities.
- Manage underwriting and claims functions across a portfolio of captive insurance and reinsurance clients to ensure efficient and accurate operations.
- Ensure adherence to deadlines and quality standards in insurance and claims activities.
- Represent Aon at captive insurance company Board meetings through presentations and attendance.
- Manage the entire insurance premium process, including invoicing and receipt management.
- Liaise and collaborate effectively with external service partners such as loss adjusters, brokers, auditors, and actuaries.

Aon's Captive team is recognized among the leading global service providers, managing over 1,300 insurance entities across 30 offices. The Ireland-based Captive and Insurance Management team consists of 60 experts delivering exceptional management services for approximately 40 captive insurance and reinsurance firms.
Candidate Profile
- At least 2 years' experience in roles such as Insurance Company Management, Captive Insurance Management, insurance broking, underwriting, claims management, or corporate insurance management.
- Sound knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to Insurance and Reinsurance companies.
- Strong organizational and administrative capabilities with the aptitude to handle multiple deadlines efficiently.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills for engaging professionally with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to foster and maintain productive relationships with clients, colleagues, and third-party providers.
