The Industrials Investment Banking Associate role is positioned within the Global Industrials Team based in New York. This team advises a broad industrial sector including multi-industrials, building products, chemicals, technology, metals, packaging, logistics, automotive, aerospace, defense, and business services through a comprehensive suite of services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review complex financial models such as merger models, discounted cash flow (DCF), leveraged buyouts (LBO), public comparables, and precedent transaction analyses tailored to the industrial sector.
- Produce high-quality strategic pitch materials and client deliverables for large corporate and sponsor clients, including idea generation, industry research, and analysis.
- Prepare transaction documents, including Confidential Information Memoranda (CIMs), management presentations, and valuation materials.
- Coordinate and drive M&A, equity capital markets (ECM), and leveraged finance transactions, managing multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide insightful industry intelligence, competitive analyses, and assist with deal origination and opportunity assessment.
- Lead and mentor investment banking analysts, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two years’ investment banking experience.
- Hands-on experience with core valuation techniques and financial modeling.
- Excellent academic achievements and strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset, and strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Preferred candidates will have prior investment banking experience specifically in M&A, ECM, and leveraged finance.
- Mandatory FINRA registrations: Series 63, 79, and Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exams.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated annual salary range is $175,000 to $225,000, variable based on skill set, experience, business line, and location.
