Job description
Role overview
This is a remote-friendly leadership opportunity based in Ireland, posted on behalf of a partner company that handles applications and the next stages of the process. The position focuses on shaping and delivering performance-led digital media programs for high-growth restaurant brands and multi-location retail businesses.
You will own strategy and execution across multiple paid channels, including Meta, Google, TikTok, Connected TV, and programmatic DSPs. The role blends senior-level strategic direction with hands-on oversight, and it also includes people management responsibilities for a small media buying team. A strong part of the job is turning complex performance data into clear recommendations and persuasive narratives that support client decisions and campaign improvement.
The environment is fast-moving, collaborative, and deeply data-oriented. Success in the role depends on analytical thinking, curiosity, ownership, and a constant willingness to test, learn, and optimize.
Accountabilities
- Own the planning, launch, and ongoing optimization of cross-channel digital media campaigns across Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok, Connected TV, and programmatic DSP platforms.
- Supervise, coach, and support a team of 2 to 3 digital media buyers.
- Monitor performance across several clients, with attention to tracking accuracy, pacing, and efficient use of budgets at scale.
- Work closely with clients, brand leaders, analytics teams, creative teams, and media planning partners to deliver integrated campaign work.
- Turn campaign results into practical insights, strategic recommendations, and clear next steps for clients and internal teams.
- Create detailed reports and presentations that use data storytelling to explain impact, trends, and opportunities.
- Regularly test, refine, and improve media approaches in response to performance patterns and platform changes.
- Keep campaign execution aligned with broader client business goals.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in digital media buying and performance marketing across Meta, Google Ads, and programmatic or CTV platforms such as DV360, The Trade Desk, or Basis.
- Background managing substantial digital budgets, typically $500K or more per month, across multiple brands or accounts.
- Strong working knowledge of tracking and measurement tools, including Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking setups.
- Experience creating dashboards and reporting outputs in tools such as Google Data Studio or Looker Studio.
- Proven ability to lead, guide, and develop media buying or performance marketing teams.
- Advanced analytical ability, with a track record of converting data into insights and clear business recommendations.
- Excellent client communication and presentation skills.
- Comfort working independently in a remote-friendly, fast-paced setting.
- Strong planning and prioritization skills for managing several campaigns and responsibilities at once.
- Experience in restaurant, hospitality, or multi-location retail marketing would be an advantage.
Perks and benefits
- Compensation is competitive and aligned with experience and the scope of leadership.
- Fully remote working arrangement with flexibility on location.
- Chance to lead large-scale, high-impact digital media campaigns across major platforms.
- Leadership responsibility with direct influence over the growth of a media buying team.
- Exposure to a varied portfolio of fast-growing restaurant and multi-location retail clients.
- Collaborative culture that values testing, learning, and innovation.
- High ownership with minimal bureaucracy.
- Continuous learning environment with room to deepen expertise in advanced media technologies and platforms.
