About the role

Uber Direct is a rapidly expanding business within Uber that helps merchants offer last-mile delivery through their own e-commerce channels, outside of the Uber Eats marketplace. The team works with strategic merchants in online food delivery and is hiring an Associate Customer Success Manager to support that growth.

What you will do

  • Serve as a reliable partner to merchant accounts, building strong long-term relationships that help their businesses grow on the platform.
  • Oversee a portfolio of important partners and help improve day-to-day operations and business performance.
  • Be the main contact for partners by answering questions, resolving issues, and delivering timely solutions.
  • Work closely with sales, operations, product, and technical teams to uncover growth opportunities and improve features and processes.
  • Define account KPI goals in a quarterly business review setting, including expansions, rollouts, and new partner initiatives.
  • Partner with leadership on business strategy and execute priorities quickly.
  • Travel as needed, up to 20% per quarter, for recurring business reviews and partner meetings.

Required qualifications

  • At least 2 years of full-time experience in customer success, account management, or strategic relationship management.
  • A bachelor’s degree.

Preferred background

  • 2+ years of experience in management consulting or strategic operations.
  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, including digging into complex issues and turning findings into recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and relationship-building skills.
  • Prior experience managing large enterprise accounts.
  • Creativity and a strong interest in transforming the delivery industry.

Compensation and benefits

For New York, NY, the base salary range is USD $90,000 to $100,000 per year. For Chicago, IL, the base salary range is USD $81,000 to $90,000 per year. For San Francisco, CA, the base salary range is USD $90,000 to $100,000 per year. Full-time employees may participate in Uber’s bonus program, may receive equity, and are eligible for a 401(k) plan and additional benefits.

Additional information

This role is a full-time onsite position based in New York, NY. Travel may be required up to 20% per quarter. Benefit details are available through the employer’s benefits program.
