Role Overview
Headout is hiring an Associate Business Development Manager for Singapore to join the APAC Business Team. In this position, you will report to the Regional General Manager for APAC & MENA and help drive commercial growth and market expansion in Singapore.
You will represent Headout in Singapore and work closely with supply partners and travel experience providers to strengthen relationships, grow inventory, and create strong value for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of launching and scaling new experience categories in Singapore by identifying, contacting, and onboarding new supply partners and distribution partnerships.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing supply partners, including major attractions such as Gardens by the Bay, Universal Studios Singapore, and Singapore Zoo, to unlock additional growth.
- Help deepen Headout’s presence in key areas such as Sentosa and Marina Bay, among others.
- Work with internal teams including Operations, Tech, and Marketing to ensure partnership execution runs smoothly and supports booking growth.
- Track market movements and competitor activity, then turn those insights into practical business recommendations for Singapore and the wider APAC region.
Skills and Experience Required
- Strong fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in Mandarin, Malay, or another Asian language is also required.
- Candidates must already be located in Singapore.
- At least 2 years of business development experience is needed, ideally in consumer tech, travel tech, or marketplace startups.
- Excellent analytical ability, along with strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Comfort working across cultures and time zones in an APAC environment.
- A startup-oriented approach with a collaborative, hands-on, and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Experience using a CRM and willingness to adopt new tools quickly.
- Prior exposure to scaling sales or business development in a travel or e-commerce startup is an advantage.
