Role overview
EXL is hiring an Associate - Business Analyst for its Pune, Maharashtra location. The role sits within business analysis and focuses on gathering requirements, shaping solution design, supporting implementation, and coordinating change across projects and programs.
What you will do
- Collect business and solution requirements, create clear documentation, and support test scenario preparation and execution.
- Contribute to change and implementation work, including planning, rollout coordination, early-stage deployment support, and monitoring adoption.
- Handle activities across more than one project or program when needed.
- Support change planning by analyzing audiences, designing communication and training support, and tracking change progress.
- Take ownership of readiness, adoption, and feedback actions to reduce implementation risk and help realize benefits faster.
- Assist in managing implementation readiness, including pilot or early deployment phases.
- Work with internal clients to support data analysis, migration, and process change while keeping expectations aligned.
- Assess operational risks during analysis and implementation planning alongside delivery managers.
- Follow compliance, operational risk, and regulatory controls carefully, and escalate weaknesses or breaches when identified.
- Ensure due diligence is completed so customers and business operations are not negatively affected.
- Maintain RAID logs for assigned projects and feed risks, issues, and dependencies into PMO/program tracking.
- Where assigned, support people or team management responsibilities for junior resources within the broader transformation team.
