Job description

Role overview

This position is for a physician reviewer who will examine clinical records and medical details, then prepare concise summaries of the key information in line with defined guidelines and criteria. The role requires a doctor with at least one year of clinical experience and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

Applicants should be MBBS-qualified in India or hold an MD degree as a foreign medical graduate. An MCI license is preferred, though it is not compulsory. Experience with US healthcare processes is considered an advantage but is not required.

Work schedule

This is a full-time role with a 40-hour work week. The shift runs from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM IST, and weekends are off.

Remote work requirements

If telecommuting applies, the candidate must have a high-speed broadband internet connection at home and must comply with the organization’s telecommuter policy.

Skills and competencies

The role calls for strong analytical thinking, the ability to identify problems and understand processes, and the capacity to translate requirements into workable solutions. The candidate must be able to work within timelines, secure sign-offs at each stage, maintain and update reports, meet productivity and quality goals, and remain available for meetings and calls when needed. The individual should be comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively, and should coordinate with the program or project manager when required.

Professional conduct

The selected candidate must follow all company policies related to compliance, information security, and regulatory requirements in every aspect of the job.

Experience

A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience is required. Auditing experience is optional.

Communication

Strong written communication for documentation and strong verbal communication skills are essential.

Technical requirements

The candidate should be comfortable using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
