Role Summary

The company is looking for an organized and hands-on Assistant Warehouse Manager to help run everyday warehouse activities. This role focuses on keeping inventory accurate, ensuring storage and distribution processes flow smoothly, and supporting compliance with company procedures and safety rules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Warehouse Manager in coordinating daily warehouse functions.
  • Track stock levels and maintain inventory accuracy through routine cycle counts and audits.
  • Oversee the flow of goods through receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch so orders are completed correctly and on time.
  • Guide warehouse team members and help ensure work is performed efficiently and in line with standard procedures.
  • Review warehouse performance indicators and contribute to improvements in productivity and service quality.
  • Help make the best use of available warehouse space and storage layouts.
  • Support adherence to health, safety, and internal policy requirements across the warehouse.
  • Identify stock variances, investigate root causes, and help implement corrective and preventive measures.
  • Work closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Sales teams to support business needs.
  • Maintain warehouse records, reports, and KPI documentation.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement efforts aimed at making warehouse operations more effective.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics, ideally in the FMCG sector.
  • Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control methods is needed.
  • Strong capability in leadership, planning, communication, and problem-solving is important.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, is expected.
  • The role requires someone who can handle multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-moving environment.
