Role Summary

As an Assistant Store Manager reporting to the Store Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting day-to-day operations, leading and inspiring your team, and fostering a workplace culture based on collaboration and high performance. Your efforts will contribute to store success, brand strength, and outstanding customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Coach and motivate the team to perform at their best in a positive retail environment, maintaining a visible presence on the sales floor.
• Prioritize delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction throughout every interaction.
• Track store performance indicators, identify areas for growth, and suggest actionable improvements.
• Engage in recruitment, onboarding, and training of team members while supporting career development and performance management.
• Oversee inventory controls, compliance with company policies, and ensure efficient operational processes.
• Ensure store visuals and merchandising align with brand standards to optimize sales and customer appeal.
• Adapt quickly to challenges by proposing creative solutions and embracing continuous improvement principles.
• Promote a positive work atmosphere fostering teamwork, adherence to dress codes, and employee engagement.
• Assist in scheduling and daily task delegation to maintain smooth operations and adequate floor coverage.
• Support omnichannel sales strategies that integrate online and in-store customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years managing or supervising a team in retail or customer service settings.
• Proven ability to deliver superior customer experiences and uphold high service standards.
• Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills to handle a fast-paced retail environment efficiently.
• Ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining quality.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record in driving sales and meeting objectives.
• Passionate about fashion with an understanding of current trends and style sensibilities.
• Proficiency using POS, ERP, ATS software as well as Microsoft Office tools.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of scheduling requirements.
• Capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 40 pounds, and using ladders up to 3 meters safely.
• A high school diploma is required.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an annual salary range from $42,000 to $49,000, potentially higher based on experience.
