About the Role
Skechers Australia/New Zealand is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to join the Queenstown store. This position is ideal for a retail professional who is ready to step up into a leadership support role and help shape a high-performing, customer-focused store environment.
Working closely with the Store Manager, you will contribute to the smooth running of day-to-day store operations, guide team performance, and support the store in meeting its sales and service goals. The role suits someone who enjoys a lively retail setting, is motivated by growth, and wants to build a career in store leadership.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager with leading daily store activity and meeting sales goals and KPI targets.
- Encourage, support, and coach team members to deliver excellent customer experiences.
- Contribute to visual merchandising, stock control, and maintaining an appealing store layout.
- Help oversee wage management and support effective staff rostering.
- Provide mentoring that helps team members build confidence and develop their skills.
- Support a safe, well-run, and compliant store environment.
